3/19/2024 0 Comments 2018 working star stable codes![]() It sucks that some people can't afford to buy everything that they want (myself included) but that's life. I understand your point of view, but video games are a luxury. I've bought plenty of expensive tack and clothes items by spending my shillings and don't really see how that's an issue.you're still investing the same amount of time into earning them. Regarding shillings, just spend them? I mean, let's say you have 10,000 shillings and you want an outfit which totals 20,000 shillings - just buy one piece at a time, and grind out the rest through daily tasks/races. ![]() Skyrim just doesn't have weekly updates.īottom line, it costs money to continue to create new content. Even Skylines releases expansion packs on occasion, which costs money. I still play GTA V on the regular so I am very familiar with it. That's just Rockstar trying to get you to buy Shark Cards ($8mil is $100 real life). Facilities, etc (some are actually required to play certain heists/quests!) cost $1mil+. I play the other games that you listed as examples which of those come out with frequent updates which require no money every update? With GTA, you do have the option to earn money to buy the new items in updates, but it's a *major* grind. Without the purchase of Star Coins, Star Stable would probably not be able to release the content that they do and with such frequency. While yes, some updates may be focused on things which cost Star Coins, other updates include content such as quests and races. Probably has a bit to do with the fact that Star Stable has updates every week. We’ve paid for the game, pay to play currency is not needed or okey! It infuriates me so much that a game that has so much potential is so caught up in trying to force more money out of its players and its the main reason I play for a month and then don’t touch the game for half a year. And yet because Star Stable is the only game of its type on the market they feel they have this god given right to charge their players an excessive amount of money when in reality the game doesn’t even stand up to other open world, quest finding games. The insane thing is that SSO is so much more expensive in the long run that other, far better games. You can’t earn SC and you can only carry up to 10000 Jorvik coins at any one time, and given that nearly all the tack and clothes cost 6000JC or upwards, good luck getting that amazing matching clothes and tack set this side of summer unless you’re willing to. The entire way the currency system is set up in the game is to encourage players to spend more money on SC. So why is it, that after I have brought the game, that I’m still forced to pay even more money if I want to get a new horse or certain items in a decent amount of time? Yes, I know, we get the SC allowance every week, but if I choose to not buy star coins why am I then punished by having to wait 2 months or more in order to access content for a game I HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR?!?! You don’t see this in Skyrim. I have brought it, the same way I have brought other pc games. ![]() I don’t have a problem with paying for games.īut, and here’s the thing. I understand they cost a lot of money to make and update. The in game currency that can only be obtained through real life purchases and is the ONLY way to buy new horses, some items and pets in the game. But there is one main thing in star stable that I do hate and as much as I don’t want to spread negativity, I do feel I particularly need to have a bit of a rant today. Now when I say I hate star stable, obviously I don’t, otherwise I wouldn’t have spent the past four years on and off playing the game.
